Aju Kurian Varghese, aka, Aju Varghese, is a popular actor and producer in the Malayalam cinema. In his illustrative career spanning over a decade, the star has acted in more than 130 Malayalam films. Recently, there has been quite a buzz about his upcoming film Padakuthira. As per reports, on Sunday, the makers organised a pooja ceremony in Kochi and unveiled the first-look poster.
The actor marked his debut in 2010 and ever since has left quite the mark on the Malayalam film’s mind with his powerful performances. Now, he is gearing up for his upcoming and highly-anticipated film, Padakuthira, whose shoot is expected to commence soon. The film is helmed by Salon Symon marking his directorial debut and is penned by Deepu S Nair and Sandeep Sadanadan. The makers dropped the first-look poster of the film, which has sent fans into a frenzy.
The poster features a fountain pen with blood on the nib and a red curtain-like material draped around it. In the background, a room looks like it has been set fire to as the furniture is ablaze. The tagline reads, “Pen is mightier than sword.” The caption read, “The penman arrives…with a warhorse. Unveiling the official first-look poster of “Padakuthira. Stay tuned—exciting updates are on the way!”
Tovino Thomas instantly reacted to the poster and dropped a fire emoji in the comment section. While Basil Joseph dropped red heart emojis. A comment read, “Best wishes to the team”, while another commented, “Omg, awesome.” Many showered love in the comments section.
Padakuthira also stars Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sija Rose, Indrans, Nandu Lal, Akhil Kavalayoor, Joemon Jyothir, Shameer, Dileep Menon, Kottayam Ramesh, Sminu Sijo, and Shaheen Siddique in prominent roles. It is produced by Bini Sreejith, Manju I Sivanandan, and Sai Saravanan under the banners of Mabins Productions and Feel Flying Entertainments.
Aju Varghese marked his debut in the industry with Malarvadi Arts Club in 2010 which was directed by his college classmate Vineeth Sreenivasan. He is also an owner of a production company named Funtastic Films along with actor Dhyan Sreenivasan and producer Visakh Subramaniam. Aju was last seen in Jeethu Joseph’s Nunakuzhi, alongside Basil Joseph and Grace Antony.
