Thalapathy Vijay’s Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on September 5. It is co-written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, and Meenakshi Chaudhary are in prominent roles apart from Thalapathy Vijay’s lead role. Produced under the banner of AGS Entertainment, the film is made on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore. The fans of Thalapathy Vijay are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. Many aspire to watch the first day and the first show of their favourite actor’s film. As per media reports, it is believed that The Greatest Of All Time film is set to have a record release with a massive number of screens across the globe. Thalapathy Vijay’s action thriller is reportedly set to have special fan shows at all major release centres.
Trade analyst Sridhar Pillai’s recent post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) highlighted the timings of the first day and first show of the film in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and the USA. The GOAT’s first-day show in the USA will start at 4 AM IST. The timings are expected to start at the same time in Karnataka and Kerala. Earlier, the tentative dates stated that the first show of the film in Karnataka and Kerala will be 7 am. In Tamil Nadu, the GOAT’s first-day first show will be at 9 am. Tamil Nadu stopped allowing early morning shows after a young man died in an accident during the 2023 Pongal release, Varisu and Thunivu. With the show timings and number of theatres occupied, it can be assumed that GOAT might get an equal number of additional shows by the evening of its release day if the film succeeds in impressing the audiences. In such a situation, the Venkat Prabhu directorial might emerge as an all-time blockbuster film for the director and actor Thalapathy Vijay. In Kerala, it is expected to be the biggest-ever release for a Tamil movie.
