Take our poll to vote and choose your favourite supporting actor of 2015.

The year 2015 wasn’t just about phenomenal performances and great films. It was a year that gave movie buffs multiple reasons to rejoice as conventional topics and done-to-death formulas took a backseat. While the eventful 2015 saw its share of disappointments, it did surprise many as successful films didn’t only stick to big production houses. There were several small budget and independent films which were impressive in their own niche ways. Some performances left us in awe, some disappointed us. Few characters were made memorable by the star, in some characters made a star.

In the third edition of IBNLive Movie Awards, we select nominees in various popular categories and allow our readers decide the outcome. Take our poll to vote and choose your favourite supporting actor of 2015.

Deepak Dobriyal in 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'

One person who has managed to sway the audience time and again with his brilliant comic timing is Deepak Dobriyal. Playing the role of Pappi ji in this film, he has not only been applauded for his performance but has left an indelible mark on the hearts of thousands of viewers. While the lead actors Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan did a fabulous job, he managed to dig a special place as Pappi Ji in the minds of movie buffs.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'

While 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was all about Salman Khan and young actress Harshali Malhotra, another person who managed to grab our attention was Nawazuddin. He played a Pakistani journalist, Chand Nawab who helps Salman in finding Munni’s parents in Pakistan. No doubt as an actor Nawazuddin is class apart and his simplicity makes us go gaga over him.

Ranvir Shorey in 'Titli'

One of the finest indie of 2015, 'Titli' was a hard hitting, raw film of a dysfunctional family. Ranvir Shorey leads the way with a terrifying, terrific performance that doesn’t miss a beat. His Vikram is the kind of guy you’ll hope you never have to encounter. His intense performance made him one of the highlights of 'Titli'.

Anil Kapoor in 'Dil Dhadakne Do'

Anil Kapoor could have easily gotten lost in a film like 'Dil Dhadakne Do' which had such a massive star cast. But the actor played an insecure, shrewd bussinessman to absolute perfection in Zoya Akhtar's film, proving once again that he is original star who ruled 90s box office with his acting prowess.
