Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got married to Nupur Shikhare earlier this year in an intimate ceremony. The couple had registered their marriage in January. While it has been months since the two got married, it seems like the lovebirds are still not over their wedding memories. Recently, Nupur took to his Instagram account and shared a string of unseen pictures from a pyjama party that was held before their wedding in Udaipur.
In the pictures, Nupur is seen donning a white kurta that he paired with a blue checked lungi, while Ira wore a bronze pyjama suit. In the first snapshot, Ira is seen kissing her then hubby-to-be on his cheeks. Another picture features, Ira resting her cheek on Nupur’s hand while he makes a funny facial expression. In the background, a banner could be seen with the text “Pyjama party” written on it. The third picture is a candida one featuring Ira and Nupur sitting on the floor and flaunting their adorable smiles.
Sharing the pics, Nupur wrote on his Instagram account, “Gavthi babu aur Gori mem. P.S. doubt the apt song.”
Soon after he dropped the pictures, their family members and friends quickly swamped down the comments section and shared their reactions. Actress Rhea Chakraborty commented, “Adorable (A red heart emoticon).” An Instagram user wrote, “Simplicity and purity hand in hand.” Another one commented, “Stay blessed both of you.”
Ira Khan is the daughter of Aamir Khan from his first wife Reena Dutta. Recently, Ira dropped an unseen picture from her wedding diaries with her step-brother Azad Rao Khan. The snapshot depicted Ira, in her white wedding gown, giving a warm hug to Azad, who is dressed in a black satin gown, that reads “Brother of the Bride.”
Sharing the picture, Ira wrote, “The only person who was as excited about the robes as I was. Great minds think alike.”
Ira and Nupur got married after dating for a few years. Reportedly, the duo started dating in 2020 and then got engaged in 2022. On the professional front, Ira runs her mental health support organisation, while Nupur is a celebrity fitness trainer.
