On Monday, July 29, Tae Yoon took to his fan cafe and confirmed his October wedding with fans. Keeping details about his ladylove a secret, the actor also urged fans to support him and his decision to maintain privacy. “I have met a partner with whom I will spend the rest of my life, loving and relying on each other. We are getting married on October 9,” he wrote, as quoted by Soompi.

On the same note, Moon Tae Yu revealed that his would-be wife doesn’t belong to the entertainment industry, and thus he won’t be able to share more details about her. “She doesn’t work in a similar field as I do, but she has stood by me with great understanding. She makes me want to be a better person. Since she isn’t someone whose job involves public communication, I ask for your understanding that I can’t share more details. I will continue to work hard and repay your support with great projects in the future,” he added.

The South Korean was last seen in tvN’s popular drama Queen of Tears alongside Kim Soo Hyun. He played the lead actor’s close friend and legal consultant, Kim Yang Gi, who always tries to help Baek Hyun Woo (Soo Hyun) in challenging situations. Bringing together the sensitivity of Yang Gi’s character along with perfect comic timing, Tae Yoo’s performance was well-received by fans. The show revolves around a married couple, Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo, and their struggles to revive their relationship amid underlying issues and family drama.

Speaking about his co-star Soo Hyun, Tae Yoo once told Xsports News, “90 per cent of my scenes are with Kim Soo Hyun, so it was difficult to get the tone right. I was most concerned about coordinating that part. I think I met my partner very well. Everyone was praising me, but as expected, it was difficult on set.”
