Srujan Lokesh’s upcoming directorial project, Ghost in Trouble (GST), has been in the news ever since its announcement last year. Produced by Sandesh Productions, the film features Srujan in the lead role while also marking his debut as a director in the industry. As per the latest updates, the filming for GST has officially concluded. The makers of GST wrapped up the shoot, along with the filming of the two major song sequences. Sandesh Productions shared the news on Instagram, with the caption: “The shooting for the GST movie is officially wrapped! A huge thank you to the incredible cast and crew for their hard work and dedication.” They added a photo of GST’s entire cast and crew, posing happily with a thumbs up.
One of the songs is a romantic number that was filmed at the producer’s picturesque resort near Kabini, featuring Srujan Lokesh and Rajani Bharadwaj as the lovebirds. Another one shot recently is a vibrant dance number, the filming for which was done in Mysuru. Unlike the romantic song, the peppy dance track features Srujan, Tabal Nani, Girish Shivanna and Vinod Gobbagaragal. FYI, both the songs are jointly written by Srujan Lokesh and Chandan Shetty.
What further adds to the hype around the film is that Sandesh Nagaraju, the producer of the film, also plays a pivotal role in the film. The details about his character have been kept under wraps to keep the excitement intact. Srujan Lokesh’s mother, Girija Lokesh, and son, Sukruth also join the star cast for added personal touch.
With the music composed by Chandan Shetty, cinematography by Suresh, and dialogues by Rajshekar, the film is poised to be a whole package of entertainment. As the team enters the post-production phase, fans can’t wait for the release of horror comedy in the theatres.
While officially announcing GST last year, Srujan Lokesh shared in an interview, “The timing feels just right to direct a film. The film is a proper entertainer with horror elements. My dad, Lokesh, made his acting debut in my grandfather’s film. I made mine in my dad’s film and now my son is part of my film. The fourth generation is making its way into films and I’m overwhelmed.” Reportedly, the details about Ghost in Trouble (GST) are yet to be disclosed.
