Suriya’s one of the most awaited films Kanguva trailer has finally released. The fantasy drama has been in the news ever since it was announced. Kanguva is directed by Siva and stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and many more in key roles. Kanguva is set to hit the theatres on October 10, 2024.
Sharing the trailer on his X handle, Suriya wrote, “"Incredibly proud of all that we have done together as a team, thank you, have a very very happy birthday dearest Siva!! Here’s our #Kanguvatrailer for you dear all! (sic)." The video open with tribal people scene. They are gearing up for a war with Bobby Deol. Suriya’s character is portrayed as a ferocious daredevil, and the superstar is making a ravishing entry into the Pan-India market. It’s fair to say that the trailer is Suriya’s lion’s roar across India. The trailer beautifully depicts both prehistoric humans and our future. Such an imaginative and daring project could only come from the South.

Recently, Suriya shared a poster of the film announcing the release date. He wrote on X, “Dear all, It’s 10th October 2024." The actor shared about the announcement on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on June 27. In the poster the actor posted, Suriya can be seen standing at the top of a pole of corpses holding his sword in the air while flames erupt from the background.
It is produced by KE Gnanavelraja and Vamsi Pramod under the banner of Studio Green and UV Creations.
A source close to the production exclusively revealed to Pinkvilla that the film is set to feature the actor in 3 different looks. Moreover, the source also mentioned that the actor has undergone a rigorous transformation for the different characters and each one of them would be essential to the story, adding their own layers.
Kanguva’ is the biggest and most expensive film of this year. With an estimated budget of over 350 crore, it’s bigger than the likes of Pushpa, Singham, and several other big films. Moreover, the film has been shot across seven different countries on various continents of India.
