Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion garnered positive reviews for his honest portrayal of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold athlete. Although this film did not have a female lead, the actor has previously worked with A-list actresses like Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Tabu and many more. Now, in a recent interview, the actor opened up on the struggles faced by the actresses in the film industry.
During the podcast Be A Man Yaar, Triptii Dimri asked Kartik Aaryan to share one thing he has learned from his female co-stars including herself. Explaining how actresses work harder than actors, Kartik responded, “I have never said this but a lot of efforts are made by all my female co-stars especially. Bahut extra mehnat karne padti hai, hum logo se zyada (They have to work harder than us). For them it isn’t just about talent or the looks.”
Kartik Aaryan added, “I can’t imagine myself wearing stilettos, managing my flipping hair and dancing all at the same time while also giving expressions and thinking about the scene. They have so many external factors. If I had to do all of this I would have gotten nervous. I wouldn’t have been able to focus on acting. I also feel that their thought process is very broad. Their hard work is much more than ours I feel.”
Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan are set to share screen space for the first time in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Apart from the talented duo, the horror comedy films will also feature Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. While Kartik’s character- Rooh Baba is expected to propel Bollywood’s biggest franchise to new heights, Vidya’s OG Manjulika will take the horror thrill a notch higher. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on Diwali 2024.
Additionally, reports suggest that Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri have already signed their second film together. The duo will be seen together in Anurag Basu’s next romantic film. Producer Bhushan Kumar, in an interview with Zoom, shared that the team is working on a film that is expected to go on floors this month. He shared, “It’ll be directed by Anurag Basu.”
Besides, Triptii Dimri gearing up for the release of Bad Newz on July 19. Co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, the film is helmed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Karan Johar.
