Now, imagine, a lifelike doll that is programmed to be your child’s best friend and parents’ greatest ally, this robot can listen, watch and learn as it acts as your child’s protector. But what happens when the doll learns to be self-aware and becomes aggressive and hostile toward anyone who comes between her and her human friend? Well, this is the story of a 2022 American science fiction horror film M3gan, which is currently available on the OTT platform and the audience is loving it.
M3gan, pronounced as Megan is a recent OTT film which is a blend of science and technology. The name of the film has the number 3 used in it instead of “E”, to probably denote Robot Edition. M3gan gives the audience a super-thriller experience through horror-filled graphics that will keep them hooked to the screen. The film has been given a rating of 6.3 by IMDb. The film shows a company manufacturing a baby robot which is raised by a family and further shows the effects of the robot’s self-awareness on others.
