Malayalam Film Aadujeevitham's BTS Video Shows Challenges Of Shooting During COVID-19
Reportedly, Prithviraj Sukumaran spent a few days in Austria before he arrived in Jordan to get his body in proper shape for the movie.

The Goat Life- Aadujeevitham is gearing up for its release on April 10. Directed by Blessy, the movie is a cinema adaptation based on an epic novel written by Benyamin titled, Aadujeevitham, which is based on a real incident. The movie is currently one of the most eagerly awaited projects in the Malayalam film industry ever since its announcement.

Now, a behind-the-scenes video of the crew facing challenges in shooting while in Jordan during the Covid-19 pandemic has been released on YouTube and gaining attention. The YouTube video shows the crew members of different countries playing, laughing and celebrating together in the middle of the desert despite the pandemic.

In the video, the lead actor of The Goat Life Prithviraj Sukumaran spoke about his body transformation and the fear of losing all the progress. He said, “Blessy Sir’s biggest worry was that my eight months of hard work and physical transformation would go to waste." Reportedly, he spent a few days in Austria before he arrived in Jordan to get his body in proper shape for the movie. But, suddenly, a lockdown was declared due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The director remained concerned about Prithviraj’s body and voiced it by stating that whenever they began shooting, the actor would have to go through a lot again to attain the body that is needed for the body.

Further in the video, Blessy shared the experience of being stuck in the middle of a desert during the pandemic. He shared, “Our excitement of coming to the desert with dreams turned into fear when we learned that the pandemic of Covid-19 hit the world. For 60 days, we were alone in the desert." The team had landed in Jordan on March 9, 2020, to shoot the second schedule. Every day since then has been a huge challenge. However, it was courage that made them stick together in difficult times and taught something to all the members of the team.

Aadujeetvam is considered to be one of the biggest movies of Prithviraj’s career, where he plays the role of a Malayalee, Najeeb Muhammad, who goes missing in Saudi Arabia and ends up as a slave to a farm owner. Apart from Prithviraj Sukumaran, it will also star Amala Paul, K.R Gokul, Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Arab actors Talib Al Balushia and Rik Aby in important roles. The music department is being handled by musical maestro, AR Rahman. The movie will be released in various other languages as well like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
