Masaba Gupta Gets Emotional As She Thanks Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor For Hosting Her Baby Shower

The soon-to-be mom Masaba Gupta recently had her baby shower. It was attended by all her close friends and family including her mother Neena Gupta, husband Satyadeep Misra, Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt. Hosted by Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Pooja Dhingra, the baby shower ceremony included all of Masaba’s favourite things. How do we know? On Thursday, the designer and actor posted a picture on Instagram stories. Featuring her alongside Sonam, Rhea and Pooja, the post had fans’ hearts melting as it beautifully captured the bond and friendship between the four.

Through her post, Masaba Gupta expressed gratitude to Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Pooja Dhingra for hosting the best baby shower. In a note, she wrote, “I m still emotional cos these 3 hosted the best baby shower a girl could ask for. Leaving no stone unturned and with all my favourite things. I’ve known Sonam & rhea since I was a 10 year old and Poojie for over a decade now and a lot has happened in our lives but one thing is a constant: through the curveballs life has thrown at us we will celebrate with great food, a good sense of humour, a nonsensical group chat and a daybed to laugh, eat, cry and pass out on. We are now in our maasi era as Rhea Kapoor would say.”

Earlier, Masaba Gupta had shared a few pictures from the baby shower on Instagram writing “Me and my 3 heartbeats.” The images captured Masaba flaunting her baby bump while posing for some beautiful pictures with her husband Satyadeep Misra and their furry friend. Notably, the designer, for her baby shower day, decided to make heads turn in a full-sleeved custom-made outfit and accessorised the look with diamonds.

In case you don’t know, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra got married in January 2023. They shared the good news about their impending parenthood in April this year. Through a post including emojis that depicted pregnancy, Masaba announced the pregnancy as she wrote, “In other news – Two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings and banana chips (plain salted ONLY).”

Masaba Gupta, beyond her achievements as a fashion designer, has also been receiving love for her role in the romantic-comedy Modern Love Mumbai and Masaba Masaba.
