Mohanlal Praises Son Pranav's Film Varshangalkku Shesham

The film Varshangalkku Shesham directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan has been making the headlines. The Malayalam film featuring Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan hit the theatres on April 11. Fans took to social media to post their reactions after watching the film.

In a recent development, Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal posted two pictures on X (formerly Twitter). In one picture the actor can be seen enjoying the movie at a screening while the other picture is a heartfelt message dedicated to the full crew of the film.

The letter when translated to English reads, “At the dawn of our lives, is there anyone who doesn’t look back to their past experiences? In between the life achievements, at the distance, one will always look back at the chapters of suffering they had to undergo.

“When I watched Varshangalkku Shesham, written and directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, I, too, travelled back to my early days. Vineeth has not only recreated an era filled with such great difficulties, but this film also speaks about the big smile (philosophical smile) that one gains while looking back at the end of such difficult experiences. Thank you to all the team members of the film Varshangalkku Shesham for reminding me of all the experiences after years.”

The film Varshangalkku Shesham is filled with entertainment while featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal in the lead roles. The film revolves around the life of two friends and is set over 50 years. It speaks about the story of two friends Venu and Murali who went to Madras to put their feet in the film industry. The movie showcases the life struggles of the duo and how they overcome their problems.

The new Malayalam film is produced by Visakh Subramaniam under the banner of Merryland Cinemas. Amit Ramnath composed the music for the film while Viswajith Odukkathil did the cinematography. Nivin Pauly, Basil Joseph, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Aju Varghese are some notable names who are seen acting in Varshangalkku Shesham.
