After the absolutely charming Piku, Shoojit Sircar once again teams up with Amitabh Bachchan but this time for a completely different kind of film. Pink has Sircar as producer and Bachchan playing a lawyer defending three young girls who have been accused of murder. But what's the actual reality? Are the girls the perpetrators or the victims? A gritty thriller Pink attempts to answer questions pertinent to the society.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film features Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi and Andrea Tariang. Pink addresses some grave issues like women safety in the capital city and that how Power overules court judgements.
