Producer Listin Stephen Elected As President Of Kerala Film Distributors Association

Producer Listin Stephen has been elected as the president of the Kerala Film Distributors Association. Listin is the youngest person to occupy this position. The announcement regarding this was made during the annual general meeting held in Kochi, Kerala. The association has claimed that he was elected unopposed. The same committee members from the previous year have been re-elected unopposed for another year. Besides the President post, other office bearers were also elected like SST Subrahmanyan as the General Secretary and VP Madhavan as the Treasurer.

Apart from being the president, Listin is also the owner of the production and distribution company Magic Frames. With the production company, Listin has bankrolled many successful films Traffic, Chappa Kurishu, Ustad Hotel and How Old Are You. Magic Frames has also produced the films Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha, Driving Licence, Jana Gana Mana and Kaduva. In Listin’s career as a successful producer, the films Ustad Hotel and How Old Are You played an important role. In addition to the Magic Frames, the 37-year-old producer is the creative force and founder of the South Indian Film Academy.

Backed by Listin’s production company Magic Frames, Ajayante Randam Moshanam is directed by Jithin Lal. The film stars an ensemble cast of Tovino Thomas, Aishwarya Rajesh and others. Later, in an interview, Listin revealed that Tovino Thomas’ ambitious project, Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM), is slated for a September 12 release. It has set the stage for an epic showdown with Mohanlal’s highly anticipated Barroz. Both Ajayante Randam Moshanam and Barroz belong to a fantasy genre and are the most talked about films in the industry.

Listin has been married to a Malayali girl settled in London named Benitta Jacob since August 24, 2015. They have two children. His engagement function was held in Kottayam and many prominent film personalities participated in the ceremony. They include the actress Amala Paul, the director and her former husband AL Vijay.
