While Salman Khan fans are awaiting the release of the actor latest film Race 3, it is Anil Kapoor who is said to have a rather pivotal role in the film this time. The actor who has been with the franchise since its inception will be seen shedding the comic avatar of an inspector RD and put on the hat of a business tycoon in the third installment.
Now, talks about his entry in the action led film is going around. It is being speculated that the actor's entry in the film will be bo less than a spectacle and something his fans have never seen before. The 61-year-old actor will be introduced through a special scene with bombastic action sequences which he has himself performed.
According to DNA, the scene was initially meant to be smaller but after director Remo D'Souza, discussed it with the stunt directors, it was increased in length as well as octane. "Though initially visualized on a small scale, we decided to make it larger than life. I designed the scene with the action directors (Tom Struthers and Anil Arsu). Anil sir refused to use a body double. He underwent training sessions in Abu Dabhi before we shot it." Remo said.
Race 3 marks the big festive release of the season with Salman Khan again blocking the Eid weekend. The film boasts of an elaborate ensemble led by Khan and promises to entertain the fans with patent Salman-style dialogues and action sequences.
The film releases on June 15.
