Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming romantic film, Teri Baaton Main Aisa Uljha Jiya, is about to be released on Friday, February 9. Ahead of the film’s release, a special screening was held for Bollywood celebrities. Shahid’s family including Pankaj Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Ishan Khatter were in attendance. Also attending the event were Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, who are about to tie the knot.
Rakul looked gorgeous in a yellow dress. She kept her hair open, framing her face perfectly. Meanwhile, Jackky looked dapper in an all-black ensemble. He completed his look with a matching cap. The couple happily posed for the paps as they attended the screening ahead of their wedding.
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani have chosen to tie the knot in an intimate two-day celebration, set to conclude on February 21 in Goa. The couple originally planned a destination wedding overseas but made a last-minute decision to align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for families to host their wedding festivities within India. However, they chose Goa for a special reason.
Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “Goa holds a special place in their hearts. That’s where it all started and their romance flourished. Choosing Goa is a sentimental decision for them and the wedding is going to be absolutely serene.”
Rakul and Jackky have been dating for a few years now, leading to this joyous moment of matrimony. From their first few encounters to the love they share today, their journey has captivated fans and set the stage for a heartwarming celebration.
“Contrary to speculations, we hear that Rakul and Jackky will have an intimate wedding in the presence of their family and close friends in Goa only. There will be no extended celebrations or a reception in Mumbai or anywhere else after. It looks like it is going to be a 3-4 day affair like most weddings usually are,” an insider had earlier shared.
As for Shahid and Kriti’s film, it features the love story between a human and a robot. It marks Shahid’s comeback to the romantic comedy genre after projects like Kabir Singh and Farzi to name a few.
