Ranbir Kapoor Fans ANGRY As Lara Dutta, Arun Govil's Photos From Ramayana Sets LEAKED

Even though Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana has not been officially announced as of now, it has been ruling headlines for a long time. Recently, director Nitesh Tiwari began filming for the film in Mumbai and now, photos of Lara Dutta and Arun Govil from the sets has been leaked.

Recently, Zoom obtained some pictures from the sets of Ramayana which featured Lara Dutta and Arun Govil in their respective characters. Govil, popularly known for playing the role of Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, will be stepping into the shoes of King Dashrath in the movie. On the other hand, Lara Dutta will be seen as Kaikeyi.

In the leaked photos, Arun Govil was seen interacting with some young boys on sets. He sported a long beard as he also wore a mukut on his head. Lara Dutta was seen in a saree which she accessorised with heavy gold jewellery.

However, leaked pictures have left Ranbir Kapoor’s fans angry and disappointed. While some urged the makers to take precautions on sets, others asked everyone not to spread leaked photos/videos. “@niteshtiwari22 sir please restrict mobiles on sets! Fans like us are viraling leaked pics of #Ramayana movie. Please take strict action against leaks (sic),” one of the fans wrote.

For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Sai Pallavi has been roped in for the role of Sita. Prior to Sai, Ranbir’s actress-wife, Alia Bhatt was in talks for the role of Sita but she backed out due to dates-related issues.

KGF star Yash is also likely to play Ravana in the movie whereas Sunny Deol has reportedly been locked for the role of Hanuman. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are also reportedly in talks for the roles of Kumbhakarna and Vibhashana respectively.

Reportedly, makers are planning to release Ramayana on Diwali 2025. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
