One incident that grabbed headlines involved contestant Asim Riaz losing his temper during the initial episodes, leading to a tense moment on set. Recently, co-contestant Niyati Fatnani opened up about what exactly transpired in a podcast with Shardul Pandit.

Niyati shared that Asim Riaz’s temper flared up during a shoot, resulting in a heated confrontation with both his fellow contestants and the show’s host, Rohit Shetty. She revealed that much of Asim’s outburst was edited out of the episode that aired, but in reality, it was more intense than viewers saw. According to Niyati, Asim said several things in anger that never made it to the final cut.

Niyati praised Rohit Shetty for handling the situation with calm and grace. She mentioned that Rohit refrained from retaliating despite Asim’s rude remarks. However, the situation got so heated that Rohit Shetty’s bodyguards had to gather around as a precaution while Asim continued his tirade. “He could have said a lot of things, but he chose not to. His bodyguards were around, as Asim was really close to sir, talking rudely,” Niyati explained.

In one of the earlier episodes, tensions between Niyati and Asim escalated when Rohit Shetty asked the contestants to volunteer for a difficult stunt. Niyati teased Asim, saying that since he often boasted about enduring pain, he should attempt it. This didn’t sit well with Asim, who snapped back that no one in the group was on his level. Niyati countered by stating that she had no intention of reaching his level, which led to more friction between the two.

The drama didn’t stop there. Asim mistook a head-on stunt for a team challenge, and when he received the Fear Funda, his frustrations boiled over. He also clashed with Abhishek Kumar and Shalin Bhanot, as they playfully mocked him, leading to a serious confrontation. Ultimately, Asim walked off set after a heated argument, prompting Rohit Shetty to announce that Asim Riaz would no longer continue on the show.
