The Covid-19 pandemic has affected people from all walks of life. In the entertainment industry, the daily-wage earners and workers of the film industry suffered major loss of livelihood during the first and second wave of Covid-19.

He had helped our members in the first lockdown too we are grateful to him. He has told us that he will continue to help our workers in the future too.”
Tiwari also thanked other members of the film industry, who came out and supported cine workers. Producers Guild of India and other production houses also helped FWICE members. “We are eternally grateful to the film industry coming in support of its fraternity,” he said.
Last year, Salman Khan’s organisation Being Human had lent their support to 25,000 members of FWICE who were in urgent requirement of funds. Salman also recently distributed food packets to frontline workers. He also helped daily wage workers by sending Rs 3000 to their bank accounts.
