Eros International & Salman Khan Films recently announced that their latest release 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' had a record breaking opening weekend collections of Rs. 102.60 crore in India. This is the highest single day collection for any film and the fastest collection of 100 crore as well.
'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan was released on Eid and was expected to cross Rs 100 crore mark like most of Salman Khan movies. The movie has garnered critical applause as well as won the hearts of the audience with it's simple storyline and different avatar of Salman Khan.
Directed by Kabir Khan, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' touches upon the sensitive topic of Indo-Pak relations while telling the story of a mute Pakistani girl who gets lost in India. Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi a.k.a Bajrangi takes the girl to her home in Pakistan and this gives rise to various hilarious as well as emotional moments in the film.
