With Unni Mukundan’s highly anticipated film Marco creating a huge hype among cine-goers, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to take the hype to another level. The upcoming thriller film is touted as the biggest massive-violence film in Malayalam, and fans are on the tip of their toes waiting for the release of the film. Now, further piquing the interest of movie buffs, the makers have released the second-look poster of the film.
The second-look poster of Marco featuring the leading man and producer in a deadly avatar sporting an intense look has set social media on fire. His menacing avatar in the poster, holding a severed head in his right hand with blood spots all over, has sent fans into a frenzy. Decked up in a formal suit, the poster also shows Unni Mukundan smoking a cigar while his sleeve is completely on fire.
The caption read, “Here’s wishing a kickass birthday to our ultimate maverick. As promised, we bring you the Unni Mukundan, like never before. Marco is blazing, and Unni Mukundan is literally on fire! The villain you knew, the hero you’re gonna meet, bloody soon.”
Soon after the poster was released, fans rushed to the comments section to shower him with love and express their delight to see the second look. “If the poster is like this, there is no doubt that the movie is fire. Waiting for Release,” commented a user. Another added, “A big storm is coming.” “Unni Mukundan has changed the Malayalam cinema world to a new level, Marco,” remarked an account. “This is insane. Waiting for the movie,” posted another.
Directed by Haneef Adeni, the movie is a spin-off to the actor-director’s previous outing, Mikhael. The project is jointly produced by Shareef Muhammed and Unni Mukundan, under the banners Cubes Entertainments and Unni Mukundan Films. Apart from Unni Mukundan, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Yukti Tareja, Kabir Duhansingh, Abhimanyu Thilakan, Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, and more in pivotal roles. In the movie, Marco Jr, the feared antagonist of Mikhael, will be portrayed a bit differently by the director, promising viewers a completely new experience.
