Actor Siddharth Jadhav is currently eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming Marathi film Ek Daav Bhootacha directed by Sandeep Naware. Ultra Marathi has unveiled the film’s trailer on Instagram. The trailer gives an insight into the life of Madan (Siddharth), who starts seeing ghosts and is scared for his life. However, his life takes an intriguing twist with the arrival of a ghost Shashikant (Makarand Anaspure). The ghost tries to help Madan to propose the love of his life Madhumati (Mayuri Deshmukh). The social media users see in the glimpse that the ghost helps Madan navigate other difficulties in life as well. The trailer has garnered more than 39,000 views and counting. Ek Daav Bhootacha will be released at the cinema halls on October 4.
Social media users dropped heart emoticons in the trailer. A few of them also expressed happiness to see the actress Mayuri Deshmukh in the film. Apart from these actors, Ek Daav Bhootacha stars Nagesh Bhonsle, Aashay Kulkarni and Ashwini Kulkarni in notable roles.
Ek Daav Bhootacha’s songs have also become popular with the audience. Check out this song titled Dekhana Pakharu sung by Sonu Nigam. The track captures the endearing chemistry between Madan (Siddharth) and Madhumati (Mayuri Deshmukh).
On the work front, Mayuri last acted in the film Lagna Kallol directed by Mohammed S Burmawala. Siddharth Jadhav and Bhushan Pradhan played the male leads in this film released at the cinemas on March 1. Mayur Tirmakhe Films has backed Lagna Kallol.
Mayuri had to go through a difficult phase after losing her husband, actor Aashutosh Bhakre a few years back. Aashutosh died on July 29, 2020, in Nanded, Maharashtra, India by suicide. The reasons behind the suicide are still not revealed in the public domain. According to the reports, Aashutosh has been suffering from depression for the past few days. His suicide case left the entertainment industry shocked. The duo tied the knot on January 20, 2016. Mayuri had penned a poem remembering him on August 11, 2021.
In an interaction with The Times of India, Mayuri said that she has no plans to fill the void created in her life by her husband’s absence.
