The first part of the third season, released in 2023, had left her fans eagerly waiting to know what happens next, and now, the much-anticipated conclusion to Ram Madhvani’s gripping thriller series is ready with the upcoming instalment titled Aarya Season 3: Antim Vaar.
As the curtain draws for the final chapter, Sushmita Sen shared insights into her role in the series. In a recent interview with ANI, the actress talked about the intricacies of her role, shedding light on her character’s journey in this much-loved thriller series.
In the ongoing series, Sushmita is a resilient woman, who goes to extraordinary lengths to protect her family from the clutches of the criminal underworld. Aarya, her character, mirrors the spirit of a lioness engaged in a fierce battle. As the storyline progresses towards the final confrontation in Aarya Antim Vaar, suspense lingers.
Reflecting on the showdown, Sushmita Sen remarked, “A lioness’ final strike is always its mightiest, and that perfectly describes Aarya. She’s strong, she’s fierce, and she doesn’t back down even when feeling weak or wounded. Aarya is really pushed to her limits where she can either break or break out.”
She further revealed that while Aarya had confronted challenges head-on before, this time, as the odds stacked up against her, her strength faced a true test. The portrayal of Aarya’s transformation from a sheltered, protected individual to a resolute and empowered woman resonated with the emotions of the entire team, from the cast to the crew, providing an inspiring journey in the series.
The much-anticipated trailer for the upcoming web series has recently been released. Disney+ Hotstar, the streaming platform, shared the sneak peek on Instagram, with the caption, “Ek aakhri baar, Sherni karegi ek antim vaar,” meaning, “For one last time, the lioness will unleash her final strike.”
