Tamannaah Bhatia Pokes Fun At Paps As They Ask Her 'Ungli Dikhao' Post Her Voting: 'That Sounds Wrong But...'

Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia cast her vote for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in Mumbai today, May 20. The actress stepped out earlier this afternoon and was spotted outside her designated polling booth in Mumbai to cast her vote. As she stepped out of the polling booth, she flaunted her inked finger and also had a brief interaction with the paps.

The paps asked her, “Ungli Dikhao [Show your inked finger]”. While Tamannaah flaunted her inked finger, she laughed and added, “That Sounds Wrong But.” The video instantly went viral.

The fifth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 has begun today, May 20. Eight states and Union Territories going for polls in this phase are Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Ladakh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

The voting began at 7 a.m. and will continue till 6 p.m. Several Bollywood stars, like Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Tabu, and Swanand Kirkire, were seen at their designated polling booths early in the morning.

The Lust Stories 2 actress is often the talk of the town because of her relationship with Vijay Varma, which sends their fandom into a frenzy. Their sizzling chemistry and personas have instantly made them the “it” couple of the town. 

On the work front, the actress made waves with her recent film Aranmanai 4, a horror comedy, which saw Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead. The film is directed by Sundar C and stars Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh and K. S. Ravikumar.

The fourth installment of the horror series grossed approximately Rs 4.65 crore (Rs 4.15 crore in Tamil and Rs 50 lakh in Telugu] on its first day. The second-day earnings across all languages were recorded to be Rs 6.25 crore nett. Tamannaah Bhatia has two Hindi films in her kitty- Vedaa by Nikkhil Advani starring John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh and Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Suniel Shetty. Vedaa is scheduled to release in theatres by July 12, whereas Stree 2 is set to hit the silver screens on August 30. Tamannaah Bhatia has a Telugu film titled Odela 2 in the pipeline.
