With the release of GOAT on September 5, the mass hysteria reached its peak since it is supposed to be Thalapathy Vijay’s second last film before he retires from acting to concentrate on his political career. That being said, a die-hard fan of the star took his devotion a notch higher by driving a GOAT special vehicle to the theatre to catch the film. Gokul Aditya, a Vijay fan from Namakkal was seen driving to the theatre in a car which had posters of Vijay on both sides. On the bonnet, the title of the film GOAT was inscribed with clarity. Fans were seen surrounding the car to catch a better glimpse of the car. Reportedly, Gokul spent Rs 10,000 to get the car customised to look like a collage of Vijay posters.
GOAT is generating buzz among moviegoers not only for its lead star, Thalapathy Vijay, but also for its exciting special appearances. The film features five notable cameos, including MS Dhoni, Trisha Krishnan, Sivakarthikeyan, YG Mahendran, and an AI-generated version of the late actor Captain Vijayakanth.
GOAT is not only generating excitement for its star-studded cast but also for its impressive scale. With a reported budget of around Rs 400 crore, it stands as one of the most expensive films of 2024. The film, featuring Thalapathy Vijay along with a stellar ensemble cast, has already made waves by crossing Rs 50 crore in worldwide advance bookings ahead of its release, marking Vijay’s second consecutive film to achieve this milestone after the success of Leo last year.
