Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18 is all set to premiere on October 6 and the new promo has only increased the anticipation around the show. According to the latest reports, the makers approached Disha Vakani, aka Daya Ben of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame. However, the actress reportedly declined to appear on the show, despite being offered Rs 65 lakh.
A Pinkvilla report mentions that Disha Vakani was offered 65 lakh to appear on the show. This is the highest amount offered to any contestant. While there is no official statement from the actress, she has reportedly declined to appear on the show. This is not the first time the actress has refused to appear on Salman Khan’s show.
Disha Vakani has been missing from the spotlight for a while now. Disha took a maternity break in 2017 and has yet to return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. In fact, her replacement has been on the show for a while now.
Meanwhile, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Urfi Javed’s sister, Uruusa is expected to be a part of Bigg Boss 18. As per a source, “Things are yet to be finalised and she is in the last stage of talks with the makers.” If she enters the Bigg Boss house, it is sure that she will bring in the much-needed drama. Just like Urfi, Uruusa is also sassy, bold and unapologetic – as was seen on Follow Kar Lo Yaar.
It was earlier speculated that Splitsvilla X5 fame Digvijay Rathee would also appear on the show. But New18 Showsha learnt that Digvijay will not be seen in Bigg Boss 18. Instead, he has been approached for a role in the new season of Roadies.
Nia Sharma has been confirmed as the first contestant of Bigg Boss 18. Nia recently appeared on the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 where Rohit Shetty announced her as the first contestant on Salman Khan’s show. Salman Khan’s show, Bigg Boss 18 will premiere on October 6. It is speculated that Arjun Bijlani, Nyra Banerjee, Dheeraj Dhooper, Shilpa Shirodkar, and Shoaib Ibrahim will also be on the show. However, there is no confirmation on this yet.
