Urfi Javed SLAMS Rich Celebs For Acting Middle-Class, Reddit Speculates Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan; Watch

Social media influencer Uorfi Javed is known for her quirky outfits and unfiltered opinions. Recently, a viral clip shows Uorfi criticising Bollywood celebrities who falsely claim to have had middle-class upbringings.

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Uorfi said, “When rich celebrities pretend that they had a very middle-class, poor upbringing, it irritates me to the core. B****, we know you were rich. ‘Hum bilkul middle class thay, humne kabhi first class fly nahi kia, hum economy mein fly karte thay. (We were very middle-class; we never flew in first class, we flew in economy).’ Humne plane nahi dekha tha yaar, tum kaise baatein kar rahi ho (We never even saw a plane, what are you talking about?).”

She added that it’s annoying when rich celebrities pretend to be middle-class to relate to their audience. Even when they act stingy, it seems fake. She questioned why they earn money if they don’t want to spend it and urged them to just be themselves, saying it’s okay to have and spend money. She said, “When rich celebrities act middle-class, they want so hard to relate to the audience and have the audience relate to them. Even when they act middle-class now, claiming they are stingy and don’t spend money. Then why are you earning? You take up a job. I don’t like these tantrums. Just be yourself. It’s okay to have money and spend it too.”

While she didn’t name any celebrities, her comments seemed aimed at Alia Bhatt and Sara Ali Khan. Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, once said she raised Alia and her sister, Shaheen, with a middle-class mindset by flying them in economy class. Similarly, Sara Ali Khan often describes herself as very ‘middle-class’ and ‘kanjoos’ (stingy).

Meanwhile, on Friday, Urfi attended a star-studded party alongside Bollywood actors and star kids Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan, and social media sensation Orry. Several photos from the bash went viral, and fans were thrilled to see Urfi mingling with them. The Bigg Boss OTT star shared a happy photo with Ananya, captioning, “Cute Hai Ladki @ananyapanday.” Ananya reshared the photo and wrote, “Same pinch.” Ananya also shared a stylish photo with her bestie Suhana Khan, where they hugged and posed together. A photo of Orry kissing Urfi also went viral, and Urfi shared the picture, writing, “@orry love this guy so much.” Urfi also posed alongside Tania Shroff and others.
