Vivek Oberoi's Speech On Bishnoi Community Goes Viral Amid Lawrence Bishnoi's Threats to Salman Khan

Following Baba Siddique’s shocking murder, fans have been worried for Salman Khan. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, whose gang member has reportedly taken onus of Siddique’s death, has issued death threats to Salman for hunting and killing two blackbucks while filming Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan. The animal is considered sacred in the Bishnoi community. Amid these threats and news about Salman’s tightened security, Vivek Oberoi’s speech about the Bishnoi community has resurfaced online and is going viral.

In a video resurfaced online, Vivek praised the Bishnoi community. The speech, which is said to have been delivered last year, Vivek said, “In every household, including mine, we feed cow’s milk to kids. There’s only one community in the whole world – the Bishnoi community – where if a fawn’s mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won’t find this anywhere else in the world.”

Lawrence Bishnoi Threatens Salman Khan:

Salman was accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan during the shoot of his 1998 film – Hum Saath Saath Hai. He was sentenced to five years in jail but was later granted bail. Blackbucks are considered holy by the Bishnoi community, to which Lawrence Bishnoi belongs. In 2018, Lawrence began threatening Salman. However, the intensity of the threats amplified in 2023 when Salman’s father, Salim Khan found a death threat letter.

In his interview from Tihar Jail in 2023, Bishnoi had stated on camera that his only purpose in life is to kill Salman Khan. Earlier this year, shots were fired at Salman’s residence.

Even after Baba Siddique’s death, a man claiming to be a part of Bishnoi’s gang issued a warning to Salman. Following the new threat, Salman’s security has been increased.
