K-pop idol Jungkook’s second solo was teased last weekend when the BTS member played a headline set at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City on September 23. Just days after, his management agency dropped the official teaser video of the new track. Titled 3D, the peppy number includes the feature of six-time Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow. With peppy beats playing in the background, the video opens with a stunning stair walk of Jungkook in an all-white ensemble emanating rockstar vibes. Just seconds later, a completely contrasting Jungkook in all-black street casuals appears strolling, welding a hammer on his shoulder.
Jack Harlow makes a short cameo playing a game of chess with the Korean idol before the short teaser comes to an end. From the looks of the official teaser, 3D seems to be yet another peppy dance number following the release of SEVEN. Catch a glimpse of it here:
After the promotion at the Global Citizen Festival, BigHit Music officially confirmed the single via Weverse on Saturday night. “We are excited to announce the release of BTS member Jungkook’s digital single ‘3D (feat. Jack Harlow),’" wrote the agency in their official note. Though details of 3D remain quite unclear, BIGHIT Music confirmed it’s a Pop R&B track that contains “clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second, and third dimensions." The official announcement braced fans for meeting a more mature side of Jungkook in the music video accentuated by the unique rap style and zest of Jack Harlow.
A day after the official announcement, Jack Harlow also teased the upcoming solo in an ambiguous style on X. “I’ll fly u from Korea to Kentucky," he wrote on the social media platform, leaving fans to wonder if they’re the lyrics of the song.

Jungkook and Jack Harlow’s maiden collaboration is set to be released on Friday, September 29 at 1 pm KST and 12 am EST. The K-pop idol’s first solo Seven featuring Latto broke several records and even debuted at number one on Billboard Hot 100. The massive success of the previous track has set a higher benchmark for the upcoming number.
Earlier this month, Jungkook’s fellow band member Kim Taehyung aka V dropped his first solo album Layover.
