It has only been over a week since musician Joe Jonas officially filed for divorce from actress Sophie Turner. Now, it seems the Games of Thrones diva is channelling her entire focus on work. On Friday, photos and videos from the sets of her upcoming TV series Joan garnered tremendous traction on social media. The Hollywood star known to essay the role of Queen in the North, Sansa Stark, jetted off to Spain to shoot a beachy sequence alongside co-star Frank Dillane. Donning a peppy monokini, the two were captured romantically frolicking in the ocean while filming a scene. A few stills showcase the duo sharing a contagious smile while working on the playful segment.
The main leads were also spotted recording a kissing sequence on the beachy shore. For those unaware, Sophie Turner essays the real-life role of Joan Hannington, who is dubbed “The Godmother” in the British underworld. The plot of the series traces the woman’s tumultuous journey of transitioning from a housewife, mother to a diamond thief and criminal mastermind. Besides Sophie and Frank, Kristy J., Laura Aikman, and Alex Blake also play pivotal roles in the show.

The viral photos are being circulated at a time when both Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have refrained from revealing the reason behind their split. Although the couple have shared a joint statement about the separation on their respective social media handles. “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the duo explained.
Sophie and Joe tied the knot in 2019 twice, one was a surprise wedding in Las Vegas and the other marked the grand marriage celebration in France. The ex-couple share two daughters together, 3-year-old Will and another 1-year-old whose name hasn’t been made public by the parents yet.
Even though the reason behind the divorce remains unclear, Joe Jonas has personally asked fans to stay away from being misled by false narratives and rumours on social media.
