The Marvels Teaser: Is Thor Making A Cameo? Fans Believe So

Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris are gearing up to fight an intense intergalactic Battle in MCU’s full-length all-female team-up film The Marvels. The superheroes known as Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel), Captain Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan (Ms Marvel) band together to save the universe from the Kree empire. But do you know there is a teeny-tiny possibility of an Asgardian to join The Marvels battle? This buzz arose from the latest teaser of the upcoming movie. Although the addition of Thor or Valkyrie seems quite random, there’s a scene in the trailer where Ms Marvel herself says she “called a friend."

Just seconds after a bright beam of light looking exactly like Asgard’s Bifrost passes into Carol Danvers’ new spaceship. If it were to be believed the pathway really came from the Bifrost, a character from Thor might make a cameo in the film. While Marvel lovers want it to be Thor, a more logical approach would be to assume it is Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie. The two superheroes last crossed paths in Avengers: Endgame after Carol makes a thunderous entry into the battlefield by destroying Thor’s alien spaceship. She is quickly joined by other strong female warriors from Wakanda, Wanda, and also Valkyrie following suit. Since they’ve also fought together on a battlefield, it may happen that Tessa Thompson will take part in the female action against Kree villain Dar-Benn played by Zawe Ashton.

The snippet of the teaser has amassed a significant buzz on social media with fans rooting for Thor or Valkyrie’s special appearance. A user commented, “Omg please be Thor he would wipe the Kree from the face of the universe."

Another theorized, “It’s gonna be a woman. Maybe Valkyrie?"

One more responded with facts, “Why do people think it’s Valkyrie? Isn’t Stormbreaker supposed to be the one to call the Bifrost?"

A fan wrote, “Please be Thor or Valkyrie. I’m going to cry."

Meanwhile, a user found it highly unlikely, “A spoiler in the trailer? Marvel would never do that."

The Marvels trailer introduces fans to the tyrannical Kree leader Dar-Benn who considers Carol as “The annihilator." She declares her revenge saying “You took everything from me, and now I’m returning the favor." The major obstacle is that the Kree leader has found a way to entangle the light-based powers of Monica, Kamala, and Carol. All happen to switch places unwillingly.

The Marvels is scheduled to release on November 10.
