Watch: Raj Kundra's Latest Face Mask Is Too Classy To Miss

Raj Kundra, a figure frequently under the media’s spotlight, was recently observed making his way back home from a film screening. A video capturing this moment was shared on Instagram, where vigilant paparazzi can be observed following him. His attire for the occasion was a casual ensemble, comprising a relaxed white T-shirt and classic blue jeans, accompanied by eye-catching yellow sneakers. However, what stood out as customary was the peculiar grey mask he opted to wear. For Kundra, unique face masks have become a signature accessory and he can be spotted wearing one in almost all his public appearances.

The accompanying caption of the Instagram post said “RajKundra walks down home as the screening he attended was just few blocks away from his home.”

The screening being talked about is the premiere of Netflix’s upcoming Jaane Jaan, marking the OTT debut of actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. Earlier, he was also spotted at the screening, interacting with actress Esha Gupta.

In the comments section, people couldn’t resist the urge to take a dig at Raj Kundra for concealing his face behind his trademark mask.

Prior to this, there was another instance where Raj Kundra found himself at the receiving end of trolling for his mask. Kundra and his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty were subjected to online scrutiny when they were seen bringing home a Ganpati idol in preparation for the Ganeshotsav festivities.

As the images and videos of the couple’s Ganpati homecoming surfaced on social media, Shilpa’s vibrant green salwar suit caught the eye, while Raj was seen wearing an orange kurta, paired with a hoodie and a face mask to conceal his face.

Raj Kundra has been observed concealing his face from the media since 2021 when he got embroiled in an alleged pornography case. He faced arrest in connection to this case, subsequently securing his release on bail after two months. It was only in December 2021 that he was finally granted respite from the legal proceedings when the Supreme Court extended anticipatory bail to him and four others, including Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey, associated with the case.

Since his release, Raj Kundra has deliberately maintained a low-profile approach, and, on occasions when he does step out in public, he consistently opts for full face masks to shroud his identity. His reasons for this discretion became apparent during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session hosted on Twitter. Responding to a user’s query regarding his peculiar choice of masks, Raj Kundra clarified that it was not for public appearances but rather to evade media attention.

He said, “I am Not wearing it for public just don’t wish to give media a chance to click my face! I am hurt by the media trial they put me through! Media is not above the law!”

Furthermore, during the same AMA session, Raj Kundra took the opportunity to address the pornography case, firmly denying any involvement.
