The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) commenced the online registration process for the BPSC 69th Main Exam 2023 today, November 27. Candidates can apply for the 69th Main Exam 2023 by visiting the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in. Candidates who qualified in the BPSC preliminary exam can apply for the 69th Main exam until December 6.

The BPSC is administering the Main exam to fill up a total of 475 vacancies in several departments of the Bihar government. Candidates who are selected will be recruited into numerous posts in departments like Education, Revenue, Finance, Home, and Social Welfare as well as the State Election Commission.

Once the application process closes, candidates will be able to edit their registration forms on December 8. This year, a total of 5,299 candidates qualified in the 69th Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam (CCE) 2023. The preliminary exam was held on September 30 this year from 12 pm to 2 pm. The provisional answer key was issued on October 6 and the revised provisional answer key was released on October 17. The commission released the final answer key on October 28 and the result for the 69th CCE Preliminary 2023 exam was announced on November 11.

BPSC 69th Main Exam 2023: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to BPSC’s official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘apply online’ tab.

Step 3: As a new window opens, search and click on the ‘BPSC 69th Main Exam 2023’ link.

Step 4: To proceed with the application, enter the login credentials correctly.

Step 5: Fill out the application form as directed and make the necessary payment to complete the process.

Step 6: Crosscheck all the details and click on submit.

BPSC 69th Main Exam 2023: Application Fee

The general category applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 750. State candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, persons with disabilities (PwD) and female candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 200.

BPSC 69th Main Exam 2023: Exam Pattern

The BPSC 69th Main Exam 2023 will comprise three subjects – General Studies, Essays, and Optional subjects. The General Studies paper will have 250 questions, each carrying two marks. The essay paper will be graded out of 250 marks while the optional subject paper will be graded out of 500 marks. After the Main exam, candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the interview round, which will carry a weightage of 100 marks.
