Telangana
The southern state of Telangana may go in for a shock with News18’s Poll of Polls predicting 63 seats for Congress, while BRS may have to struggle, with 44 seats. Several other pollsters have projected that BRS is likely to lose in Telangana, while BJP and AIMIM could win 7-10 seats.
Mizoram
In the northeastern state, regional parties play an important role, with BJP’s ally Mizo National Front (MNF) led by chief minister Zoramthanga could secure 17 of the total 40 seats, and Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM), which projected a young candidate for the top post, could secure 15 seats, indicating a hung house, according to News18’s Poll of Polls.
It is important to note that exit polls are conducted by several agencies to gauge the results before the actual one. The numbers are mere projections and could vastly differ with the actual results.
