Gurugram Content Creator Roams Around on 'Magic Carpet', Video Sparks Road Safety Concerns
Video of Gurugram content creator dressing up as Aladdin and roaming around in 'magic carpet' sparks concern about road safety.

Aladdin and his magic carpet have always been fascinating for us when we were children. Thinking about it just fills us up with nostalgia. Kevin Koul, a Gurugram-based content creator, only seems to add on to this wave of nostalgia with his latest prank. He is often seen roaming the streets on his “magic carpet” and greeting bystanders. A video which is currently going viral on social media shows the content creator doing his favourite activity and it has people amused.

In the video, Kevin can be seen dressed as the Disney character and riding a skateboard on the streets. He greets people and buys ice cream from a shop.

The video was initially shared in January but it has now resurfaced. “Aladdin Prank in India Delhi/Gurugram,” read the caption of the video.

“How is this a prank? Seems like a fun activity,” commented a Reddit user. Many people pointed out how it is too risky to roam around like that on Delhi roads. “Bro how does that device work pls tell me i’m so keen about gadgets pls dont give a sarcastic reply,” commented another Reddit user.

Meanwhile, in another prank, a woman dressed as Manjulika, the ghost played by Vidya Balan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, on a Delhi metro left people in a tizzy. Many criticised the woman for apparently causing nuisance to passengers on the metro. Well, it turned out that she isn’t a content creator who had this bizarre idea to get views. The whole thing wasn’t a random prank but an advertisement for boAT! In fact, Manjulika wasn’t the only one to appear on a Delhi metro. There were also viral videos of people dressed as characters from Netflix’s Squid Game and Money Heist on a metro. For better or for worse, they too were part of the boAT-Netflix collaboration.
