South Africa, on the other hand, will be led by Dean Elgar in the final Test against India. Elgar, who will feature in his final Test in Cape Town, assumed the leadership role replacing injured Temba Bavuma.

The temperature will remain between 20 degrees Celcius to 28 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, January 3. The humidity is expected to be around 55 percent on Wednesday. The wind speed will reportedly be around 28 km/h during the first day of the Cape Town Test.
