Indian stand-up comedian shares chilling encounter with goons in Noida, recounts ordeal on social media.

Indian stand-up comedian Sundeep Sharma, accompanied by fellow comedian Saurab Pandey, recently faced a harrowing ordeal in Noida, narrowly escaping a life-threatening situation. The incident unfolded in Sec 104, where, after their show, the duo encountered an armed man blocking a desolate road. Sharma, recounting the chilling episode on the micro-blogging site ‘X’, emphasised the gravity of the situation and underscored the importance of preventive measures, tagging UP Police.

In his own words, Sharma described the events: “So we were at gun point in the middle of a secluded road in Noida Sec 104. After the show me and @comicsaurabh were returning and a man stood in the middle of the dark road holding a gun in his hand,” began Sharma. He described how another SUV appeared behind them, and a man approached their car. “I aggressively shouted while holding my mobile phone, which I thought was also a potential self defence weapon in the situation, he looked at us went to the side of the road and signalled us to go, all this while smiling,” shared the ‘Ludo’ actor.

“Happened 40 mins back, @Uppolice @noidapolice please take note of this and take action, probably you can save some life/lives. We did not open the car windows, the car doors were locked,” he further pleaded. The post quickly gained traction, generating concern among the public.

Regrettably, such instances of road rage have become alarmingly commonplace. In a recent incident captured on camera in Bengaluru, an enraged individual on a two-wheeler unleashed fury on another driver, banging on the car window and ultimately shattering the windshield with a rock before making a swift escape. Bernard Mascarenhas, who recorded the incident and shared it on Instagram, disclosed that the altercation took place on November 22 around 8:30 pm near the Horamavu Bridge.
