The women police squad will be present in locations like metro stations, shopping malls, schools and colleges, auto stands and other places that witness female footfall in large numbers.

District Magistrate Suhas L Y wrote to officials of the administration, including deputy collectors, road transport, labour department and nagar panchayat among others, and asked them to ensure compliance of the orders across Noida and Greater Noida.

The possibility of a change in the restroom infrastructure and creation of a separate frisking facility for the community are being explored at the Sector 50 station currently, officials said.
