All-party meet held to ensure smooth functioning of Budget session

Delhi: Days ahead of the budget session, leaders from various political parties met for an all-party meeting in the Delhi on Saturday. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan called for the meeting asking leaders to ensure the smooth functioning of Parliament during the Budget session.

PM Narendra Modi was present along with other leaders at the meeting. Modi assured the opposition parties that the government was ready to discuss every issue on the floor of Parliament.

With Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announcing the budget on the 10 July, many questions and worries are doing the rounds. "The opposition had issues to raise regarding the Railway and General budget so it will be a good opportunity for all to interact," AP CM Chandrababu Naidu said.
