8. Ambah is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Morena Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Ambah falls in Morena district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,11,685 voters in the seat, which includes 1,17,038 male voters, and 94,642 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Ambah recorded a voter turnout of 59.7%. In 2013 the turnout was 56.44%, and in 2008 it was 49.13%.
In 2013, Satyaprakash of BSP won the seat by a margin of 11,288 votes (10.16%). Satyaprakash secured 44.62% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 3,927 votes (4.92%), registering 36.52% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Ambah Assembly segment of the Morena Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
