Guwahati: The two-day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national executive opened on Saturday morning with party chief Nitin Gadkari, senior leader LK Advani and other leaders in attendance.
The meeting was formally inaugurated at 11:30 am.
The other leaders present are Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
A day after Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal rubbished the CAG report, the party has gone into a huddle to plan its next attack on the UPA.
After CNN-IBN aired the confessional statement of RSS leader Swami Aseemanand implicating not just himself but senior leader Indresh as well on Friday, the issue is set to reverberate at BJP's national executive meet in Guwahati.
