Chandrababu Naidu Criticises CM Jagan Mohan, Blames Him For Andhra’s Woes
Chandrababu Naidu criticised the YSR Congress Party stating that instead of working for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh, they focused on looting the state.

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy asserting that the YSRCP chief is the primary source of distress for the state. Naidu accused the ruling party leaders of transforming into demons and plundering the state. The TDP chief further stated that if Jagan had not entered politics, the state wouldn’t have suffered such significant damages.

Addressing a gathering at the party headquarters in Amaravati, Naidu lamented that under Jagan’s leadership development has taken a backseat and politics has been tainted. He welcomed several senior YSRCP leaders into the TDP and stated that the Andhra Pradesh chief Minister had utterly destroyed critical projects like Polavaram.

Expressing serious concerns over the state’s financial health, the former CM highlighted that Jagan had borrowed a staggering Rs 12 lakh crore since assuming office, resulting in widespread damage across systems such as roads, agriculture, education, and health. He accused the ruling party of registering illegal cases against those who opposed them, creating an environment of fear and suppression in the state.

Chandrababu Naidu criticised the YSRCP MLAs, stating that instead of working for the welfare of the people, they focused on looting the state. He further questioned the intelligence wing’s effectiveness in dealing with such activities over the years.

Highlighting the alleged incompetence of Jagan’s administration, Naidu cited surveys claiming that Jagan was unfit for the state leadership. The former Chief Minister accused the YSRCP government of undoing welfare schemes implemented by the TDP regime, including withdrawing financial assistance for further studies. He further recalled the late NT Rama Rao’s ethical approach to politics, drawing a sharp contrast with Jagan’s allegedly power-driven and unethical behavior.

Expressing concern about the state’s safety, Chandrababu announced plans to address public meetings across all 25 Lok Sabha constituencies, urging people to be vigilant about the perceived damage caused by the current government. The statement reflected the TDP chief’s intense criticism of Jagan’s leadership, encompassing financial mismanagement, alleged corruption and a perceived lack of development.
