Delhi elections: BJP targets AAP, calls the party a master in holding dharnas, blocking roads
Without naming Arvind Kejriwal or his party, Modi said, "Delhi cannot have anarchy. We not only need to save Delhi but need to develop it too."

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on Saturday trained its guns towards Aam Aadmi Party. Leading the BJP charge Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at AAP members saying, "Those who are masters in holding dharnas, protests, blocking roads should be given that task."

While addressing BJP's first rally in poll-bound Delhi, Modi said, "We are good in governance and should be given that task. Right work should be given to right people."

He appealed to the people to give a clear mandate to the BJP and said, "People will defeat those who spoke lies. A campaign was run cleverly by them and spreading lies is their politics. They ran a jhoot (lie) factory."

Without naming Kejriwal or his party, Modi said if the AAP leader wants to be an anarchist, as claimed by him, he should go to jungles and join Naxals. "Delhi cannot have anarchy. We not only need to save Delhi but need to develop it too."

He also asked people to punish those who failed to fulfil their promises and vote for a stable, majority government.

BJP President Amit Shah also attacked AAP by saying, "They made a record in telling lies and no one can defeat them."

He added, "He (Kejriwal) went to Varanasi to become PM but people sent him back."

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal fought the Lok Sabha elections against Narendra Modi from Varanasi but lost by a massive margin.
