New Delhi: The Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy's plea seeking further investigation to ascertain the alleged role of Finance Minister P Chidambaram in the 1987 Hashimpura massacre incident is due to come up for hearing at a Delhi court on Monday. The court had earlier reserved its order on the plea.
P Chidambaram was the Minister of State for Internal Security from October 1986 to 1989 at the Centre when the massacre happened.
Sixteen PAC personnel are facing trial for allegedly killing 42 persons in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh in the massacre.
