A video of a fight at among members at a municipal council meeting in Uttar Pradesh gained attention on social media after the clip was shared on X by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
While sharing the video of the incident on his official account, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh took a jibe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that one should come to the review meeting only arranging their own security.
pic.twitter.com/9Fb8wBVwmh

He wrote on X, “When no development work has been done then what else could have happened in the review meeting, that is why physical blows were exchanged among the councilors in Shamli. Lesson of BJP rule: Come to the review meeting after arranging your own security.”
The clip shows an unrest situation at a board meeting of the Shamli Municipal Council, where a heated argument between two council members can soon be seen turning into a physical fight between the two.
As per an India Today report, the Municipal Chairman Arvind Sangal and MLA Prasann Chaudhary were a part of the same meeting, which was scheduled to discuss development projects worth four crores in the Municipal Council.
