The Karnataka Lok Sabha Election 2024 was dominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), that won 19 seats out of 28 in the state. Of these, the BJP won 17 while the Janata Dal Secular (JDS) won two. Meanwhile, the Congress won nine seats in the southern state where it in power in the Assembly.
BJP’s Tejasvi Surya won Bangalore South while Yaduveer Wadiyar won Mysuru. Meanwhile, JDS’s HD Kumaraswamy won from Mandya. Suspended JDS leader Prajwal Revanna, who is facing sexual assault allegations, lost his Hassan seat to Congress’s Shreyas M Patel.
