The BJP is holding a roadshow in Varanasi in protest against the EC after Modi was denied permission to hold a rally in the holy city.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has gone on the offensive over the denial of permission for its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally in Varanasi. Despite getting permission for the Ganga aarti, Modi tweeted on Thursday morning that he won't perform the aarti. "My profound apologies to Ganga Maa for not being able to perform aarti today. Wish these people know that a mother's love is above politics," Modi tweeted.####
