Trinamool activists on Thursday ransacked the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation office in Kolkata.
New Delhi: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee may have ended her hunger strike, but party members are far from being appeased.
Trinamool activists on Thursday ransacked the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) office in Kolkata.
Sources said that around 25 party activists attacked and injured eight employees of WBIDC— three of whom are critical— and took away vital documents and papers.
Shouting anti-government slogans and holding party flags, the activists climbed to the second floor of the building where the WBDIC is located, and ransacked it.
One of the attackers was caught by WBIDC employees and handed over to the police.
