The BJP has joined hands with former chief minister Amarinder Singh and the Akali faction headed by Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa to fight the polls.

Training his guns at Centre, Yadav asked, “PM’s security is security, but they removed security of many others. Why? Isn't their security important?”

Uttar Pradesh will have polls in seven phases between February 10 and March 7. Sources said the meeting will take place around 4pm. The last date of filing nomination for the first phase is January 21. The results will be declared on March 10.

The party has also asked its top leadership to meet the Governor of their respective states and present a memorandum on “the corrupt mindset of Congress.”

Captain Amarinder said that he had shared his party manifesto with BJP leadership and it was expected to become part of a joint manifesto.
