In its latest update, Google has enabled its Gmail for Android Users to now request and send money through the app.
This feature was previously limited to the web version of Gmail and could be accessed through a $ icon placed next to the compose button.
Now Android Gmail Users can find the ‘Send Money’ option under the ‘Attachment’ button in the app.Also read: Jet Airways Partners With Uber to Provide Door to Door Travel Option to Fliers
The feature allows users to transfer money using Google Wallet and eases the money transfer process. Now a user just needs to select ‘Send Money’ option to transfer the intended amount to the recipient and the amount will be transferred through the ‘Google Wallet’ amount of the user.
One can simply use debit/ credit card to refill Google Wallet.
Users can also request for money from their contacts using this option.
